ST. KITTS AND NEVIS--Motorworld and S.L. Horsford & Co. Ltd., through Horsford’s Automotive, have officially introduced the Chery vehicle brand to St. Kitts and Nevis, expanding the automaker’s growing presence across the Caribbean.
The brand was unveiled on Friday, September 25, at Horsford’s Automotive on Wellington Road, where customers, partners, media and invited guests were introduced to Chery’s SUV lineup and its focus on technology, design, safety and value.
The event also incorporated local culture, with masquerades and mock jumbies forming part of the launch activities.
“We are proud to partner with Horsford’s Automotive to bring Chery’s design, quality and innovation to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis,” said Motorworld Executive Chairman Tariq Amjad. “The response to the launch reflects the growing interest in Chery across the Caribbean and the confidence customers are placing in a brand that continues to raise the standard of modern mobility.”
Horsford’s Group Executive Chairman Anthony Kelsick said the arrival of Chery gives customers another option in the new vehicle market.
“Chery represents a fresh opportunity for customers in St. Kitts and Nevis to access stylish, well-equipped and affordable new vehicles from a global automotive brand,” Kelsick said.
Automotive Executive Joel MacEachrane said the lineup was selected around the needs of today’s customers, combining comfort, technology, safety and value.
The launch followed a promotional campaign led by Horsford’s Group Marketing Manager Wallis Wilkin, which the company said generated strong public interest ahead of the unveiling.
Motorworld and Horsford’s Automotive said Chery’s arrival expands the range of vehicle choices available in St. Kitts and Nevis and forms part of Motorworld’s wider effort to introduce additional global automotive brands and technology to Caribbean markets.
