MP Wever launches 6th annual back-to-school giveaway with five-day TikTok campaign

GREAT BAY--Member of Parliament Christopher Wever, through the Wever Works Foundation and private sector partners, will launch the sixth annual Back-to-School Give Back from August 3 to 7, providing students with free school bags, gift certificates and additional prizes from participating businesses.

The effort continues MP Wever's commitment to his cause of ensuring children in need have the basic school necessities to start the school year. The campaign is being held under the theme, “Supporting Our Youth. Building Our Future.”

This year’s initiative will feature a new format, with one live giveaway taking place each day at a different business location. Wever Works has partnered with Arts From The Heart, Magical Memories, Sieben Bath N Body, Leona’s Coffee Shack and Basket Boutique for the five-day campaign.

MP Wever will go live on the Wever Works TikTok account, @WeverWorks, daily at 10:00am to reveal the participating location for that day.

The first eligible person to arrive at the announced location will receive a free school bag, a gift certificate from Zero to Fourteen and a surprise provided by the participating business. One winner will be selected each day.

To qualify, participants must follow the Wever Works TikTok account, tag others and share the relevant giveaway post featuring the school bag.

The initiative forms part of Wever Works’ continued efforts to support young people and assist families as they prepare for the new school year. By partnering with local businesses, the foundation is also seeking to broaden community participation in the annual back-to-school campaign.

MP Wever encouraged parents, students and members of the public to follow @WeverWorks on TikTok and tune in at 10:00am each day from August 3 to 7 to learn where the next giveaway will take place.
