AIRPORT--Princess Juliana International Airport projects 1.8 million passenger movements for 2025.

In the first quarter of the year, the airport recorded 256,923 arriving passengers, a 10.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Total passenger movements for the quarter were 533,990, up from 518,658 in Q1 2024.

North America accounted for 67% of inbound passengers, with the United States making up 54% and Canada 13%. Europe accounted for 25%. No data was provided on arrivals from the Caribbean or on in-transit passengers.

Arrival data is now collected through automated systems installed in late 2024. The new process replaces manual entry and is managed by the Immigration and Border Protection Services in coordination with the Department of Statistics and the airport.
