SOUTH REWARD--St. Dominic High School has announced the results of its International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Class of 2026, with 16 of the school’s 20 diploma candidates earning the IB Diploma, representing an 80% pass rate.
More than half of the diploma candidates, 55%, earned an overall score of 30 points or higher. According to the International Baccalaureate Organization, the global average Diploma Program score for the May 2026 examination session was 30.88 points.
Ten St. Dominic High School students scored above that global average. They are Adio Williams, Pooja Ramkripaul, Arti Bulland, Mahika Ramchandani, Kaelyn Revan, Dishita Babani, Ailana Scafe, Enhua Wu, Drishti Babani and Salina Gopaul.
The school also reported that its students achieved subject averages above the global standard in 11 of the 22 IB subjects offered. These subjects included Environmental Systems and Societies, Visual Arts, Business Management, Physics, Biology, Spanish, Mathematics and Chemistry.
Among the strongest subject results was Environmental Systems and Societies Standard Level, where St. Dominic recorded an average grade of 6.00 compared with the global average of 4.31. Visual Arts Standard Level recorded an average of 5.00 compared with the global average of 3.99, while Business Management Standard Level recorded an average of 5.44 compared with the global average of 4.86.

The school also surpassed global averages in Physics Standard Level, Environmental Systems and Societies Higher Level, Business Management Higher Level, Visual Arts Higher Level, Biology Higher Level, Spanish Ab Initio Standard Level, Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches Standard Level and Chemistry Higher Level.
Eleven students earned at least one grade of 6 or 7, the two highest grades available in an IB subject. Adio Williams and Arti Bulland each earned a grade of 7 in Business Management Standard Level.
Pooja Ramkripaul earned grade 6 results in Business Management Higher Level, Biology Higher Level, Chemistry Higher Level and Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches Standard Level. Ailana Scafe earned grade 6 results in Environmental Systems and Societies Higher Level, Business Management Higher Level and Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches Standard Level.
Williams also earned a grade 6 in Environmental Systems and Societies Standard Level, while Dishita Babani earned grade 6 results in Business Management Higher Level and Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches Standard Level. Enhua Wu earned grade 6 results in Business Management Higher Level and Physics Standard Level.
Salina Gopaul earned a grade 6 in Environmental Systems and Societies Higher Level, while Diya Vaswani and Drishti Babani each earned a grade 6 in Business Management Higher Level. Kaelyn Revan and Mahika Ramchandani each earned a grade 6 in Business Management Standard Level.
Williams and Ramkripaul recorded the highest overall scores in the graduating class, each earning 37 points.
Within the IB Diploma Program, students can earn a maximum of 42 points across six academic subjects. Up to three additional points may be awarded through performance in Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay, bringing the highest possible diploma score to 45 points.

The school also highlighted student performance in the Extended Essay, a 4,000-word independent research paper required of every diploma candidate. Dishita Babani, Jahzara Payne and Williams each earned the highest possible grade of A for their essays.
Babani also developed a digital laboratory booking and management system titled “LabRat: Making Science Lab Bookings Smarter” as part of her IB Computer Science Internal Assessment.
The application was designed to allow students to check available laboratory times, receive updates on the status of reservations and submit experiment requests directly to the laboratory technician. Those requests could include details on the apparatus, materials and chemicals required for each investigation.
Following the completion of her examinations, Babani presented the application to the head of the Science Department. The school said the system was approved for implementation during the upcoming school year.
The school further reported that members of the graduating class participated in a post-program survey on their preparation for higher education. All respondents said the IB Diploma Program had prepared them for university.
Most students received between two and three university offers, while one student received five offers, according to the school.
St. Dominic High School also recognized its IB teaching team for its work throughout the program. The school said the results reflected the combined efforts of students, teachers and families during the two-year diploma cycle.
The Class of 2026 graduates are now preparing to continue their studies at universities in different parts of the world, carrying with them experience in independent research, academic writing, critical thinking and problem-solving.
