BellyFull fest expands Christmas edition to two days at Emilio Wilson Park

GREAT BAY--BellyFull Fest is getting ready to usher in the Christmas season with the return of its Christmas Edition Part 2, bringing two full days of food, drinks, Christmas treats and live entertainment to Emilio Wilson Park on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6.

The festival will run from 11:00am to 11:00pm on both days, giving residents and visitors 12 hours each day to enjoy the holiday atmosphere, sample food and beverages from local vendors, and spend time with family and friends at one of St. Maarten’s best-known outdoor venues.

More than 20 vendors are expected to take part, serving a variety of food, drinks and Christmas goodies throughout the weekend. The festival is designed to offer a broad culinary experience while giving participating vendors an opportunity to showcase their products during one of the busiest and most festive periods of the year.

Live entertainment will also form part of the two-day experience, adding music and performances to an event centered on food, community and the Christmas season.

BellyFull Fest already established itself as part of St. Maarten’s holiday calendar in 2025. That edition was held at Emilio Wilson Park on December 6 and was promoted as an all-day community festival featuring more than 20 vendors and continuous live entertainment. It was included among the island’s Christmas activities promoted through the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication’s holiday calendar.

The Christmas Edition Part 2 now builds on that concept by extending the experience across an entire weekend, giving patrons two opportunities to visit the park, explore the vendor offerings and enjoy the entertainment.

Food festivals have also become an important platform for small businesses, cooks, caterers and other entrepreneurs, particularly during the Christmas season when traditional dishes, desserts, specialty drinks and seasonal treats take center stage. BellyFull Fest brings many of those offerings together in one location while providing a social setting for the wider community.

With festivities running from late morning into the evening, patrons can make BellyFull Fest a lunch stop, an afternoon outing or part of their Saturday and Sunday night plans.
